RV Challenge in Montana

Here is an additional RV Challenge to the one Harri started (great idea btw):

Below is a picture of a 13"x13"x13" cardboard box that I have sitting in a small spare bedroom in my house, here in Bigfork, Montana. After taking this picture, I've placed two objects on top of it. The challenge is to draw or describe the objects.

I promise to not move the box or the items for the next week. If you wish to participate, feel free to post your findings here. So as to not influence others, I'll refrain from commenting until after the week is over. I'll then upload a photo of the two items.

I formally grant permission to members of this forum, who have positive intentions, to "enter" my house in order to view these items.

This is a great idea man, thank you for offering up a nice 'practice field'. This will be a great way to work on our 'stuff', and I think little side/practice projects like these are going to help hone our skills. Thanks again,

@Patrick: My pleasure. I've learned a lot from your posts in particular, as well as from others on this forum. Glad to be able to contribute something.

I forgot to mention, people are of course free to practice this without posting to the forum. If someone offered this challenge to me, this is probably what I would do, and then compare notes after the photo of the objects are posted, since I have never tried to RV myself. But then of course you can't have bragging rights if you were close.

given my initial success in remote viewing last night, which you may read in the first thread here, I will take a stab at it. Please do not post results until I've posted my own findings, this offers me an opportunity to practice.

I did give the RV a go last night. This was my first attempt at RV so to be honest I am not very confident that I am even close, but I'll post what came to me anyway.

Shape: cylindrical
Colour: blue
Bizarrely I also had the image of a birds feather.

I'll try give it a go a few more times over the weekend and see if anythin else / different comes to me.

I don't see why you couldn't post two different sessions.

50 different sessions would be a problem though haha.

I found it really hard to get any good lock on both items.
I got similar to others, but very weak impressions.And on top of a box?
Initially, i thought it something lookin like a feather, but i'll say a very jaggered item like a shell.This item lot bigger then the other.
The other a shiny metallic item.Very small like.Maybe goldish, could be some kind of jewelery.This item was carefully picked, could be sentimental?

When I tried again over the weekend, I still got the feather, but I got something different for the second object, like a carving or figure. Really interested to see what Matt posts tomorrow.

I tried and didnt get a vision of anything, but a feeling instead. i feel like theres a blue small vase and for some reason something that resembles red apple.sorry, im complete novice in this, cant get image of any kind.

in still in japan and cant really train here,or concentrate much either,because of no privacy.

So. The results are in. Wow. This is very impressive, especially given that this was the first concerted practice run. The two items were, as seen in the below photo:

1. An empty 750mL green glass bottle.
   
2. An electric metal resin burner, with some burnt frankincense inside.

It is worth noting that there is a bird's feather behind the box stuck in the blinds.

If I were handing out awards, I'd give a certificate to everyone who posted a guess, regardless of accuracy. Ultimately if we are to use this for what Jim originally suggested, then we will be putting together our guesses like this, so this is good practice for that.

However the trophy goes to RichardB, for being the first one to "see" and post about the bird's feather, as well as getting the cylinder shape, which seems to closely match the bottle, and even the bottle's labels are blue! It would be interesting to hear more details about the dimensions/orientation/etc. of the cylinder that you saw. In any case I think you may have a natural talent here, since you technically got a positive hit on each prediction you made.

Runners up go to Moonbar for confirming the feather, okuma_10 for seeing metal, Peter for seeing a goldish metal item (the burner is copperish, but the burnt frankincense on top is golden in color), and to Harri for seeing a blue small vase which might somewhat match the bottle, but more importantly for initiating the idea of us practicing RV

A final thought on the feather. This item has been sitting untouched in the blinds for at least 3 months or so now. The two items on the box were brought into the room only a week ago for this RV practice. I wonder if the length of time an object is in place is proportional to the strength of its psychic imprint, which allows RVers to more easily sense it. Just a thought.

Thanks for the challenge. To be honest I am really surprised, I didn't expect to be even close. WOW, it seems this is something I need to practise more.

The position of the bottle is exactly where I thought it was on the box, but I would not have guessed it was a bottle, it just wasn't that clear to me as I only had a sense of the cylindrical shape and the colour. Still plenty of room for improvement.

The position of the burner is also where I thought it was on the box and is the right size too, but again it wasn't clear enough to be able to identify the exact object (I thought it was made of wood and not copper).

For those interested, the method I used was really simple .... got myself relaxed, concentrated on the box and then just let my mind go and noted whatever popped into my mind.

Matt, I think you are right regarding the length of time objects are in a location, as the feather was the strongest and clearest of the images. I will post up a new challenge shortly, using some objects which have been in the same location for quite a while and see how everyone gets on with those.

I didnt get either of the items on the box but got a hit on the feather

For me the feather jumped instantly into my head & very clearly - without effort, then i 'tried' to pick up something else & the image of a knife beside the feather came - perhaps 'concentration' or 'effort' can be detrimental to a good result?

LOL! I was waiting for the last possible moment before doing my own session because I felt that I needed more practice before doing it, but then Matt posted the pic first. LOL! I must have over estimated the amount of time I had, I thought I had at least a full day being on the other side of the world. Note has been taken.

sigh over my procrastination. I guess for tonight I shall do Richard's challenge right away.

May I note something though. When someone posts their results for their "viewing", can we please attach a sort of spoiler up on top of the post? Because if one of us intends on remotely viewing it, seeing another's results prematurely may disturb his own session.

I'm proud of you guys, you see you're quite better at remote viewing than what you've originally assumed. I've been talking with Jim lately, although he doesn't seem to keen on making it formal, he did inform me that he really does want a team of at least 10 of us training in remote viewing for the purposes of hitting Mo Pai targets. He tells me that if we have multiple people all getting the same things, then it gives more credence to the results of the session. I myself am aiming for about 100 or so sessions as it seems that there is a "learning curve" to the whole thing.

As Bill mentioned, sometimes your mind gets in the way of what you're viewing. I get this ALL THE TIME, as I'm still a beginner myself much like some of you. This is exactly what a remote viewer tries to avoid. The subconscious can connect to virtually anything within reason, through right brain processes we can "connect" to the superconscious and thus obtain info outside of the 5 senses. But the left brain is the problem, as it being the dominant portion of most of mankind, it tries to interfere with the process, because the left brain does not understand anything about "receiving" data from an external source, but more or less creating and inferring data through logic and analysis. Thats why you're supposed to WORK FASTER than the normal flow of thoughts. It takes more or less 3 TO 4 SECONDS for this side of the brain to kick in, and interfere with what you've got. That's why WHEN YOU GET SOMETHING, WRITE IT DOWN immediately. Do not doubt yourself.

Though improbable, it's certainly possible; I just moved out of that house on Wednesday. I'm now in Colorado (3+ hours west of Denver) for the holidays. The only thing I left in that room was a small black couch.

Although it is interesting that you bring up Pacman - in the past week or so I was making the connection between the title "Pak" that Jim uses when referring to Pak John, and Pacman. And that PakMan goes around consuming chi while evading/interacting with ghosts, which seems to describe the present predicament of our school.
